I have a real weakness when it comes to handbags…so, as a result I have a bit of an issue when it comes to keeping all my handbags organized in a way that they are not only organized, but that they also keep their shape…I was looking for ways to organize my bags for a few days and after looking for ideas on how to do it, I went to different pages and sources including Pinterest, but did not quite like anything I saw, so I decided to come up with my own way to accomplish my goal.
I have very limited space in my closet, so one of those cube organizers would not work…I already have a drawer cube in the closet, so that was not an option… The hook bars seemed like a good idea, but then I decided that there was not enough space between the hooks. Then it hit me, I could get individual hooks and place them on my wall wherever I wanted.
I went to Home Depot (they have a great selection) and found a double prong hook for which I paid less than four dollars each. We hung them in my closet and I must say I am really happy with the results.
What I love about this bag storage solution is that you can place and space your hooks as needed so you have a lot of room for customization. Depending on the size of your bags you hang 2-4 bags on each hook, but make sure you are not crushing your bags to help them preserve their shape.
I found this to be a space saving solution that is very inexpensive and worked really well for me.
I need to do something like this. My bags are everywhere!
It works really good for me, it is also very easy to do and super inexpensive.
There are tones of hooks to chose from:)
I just did something similar to this! We lined them all around the back wall of our storage closet.
Nice isn’t it? I really like being able to have all my purses in one spot:)
This is such a great way to organize ones things. i love ther ideas and i have toi utilize them as i always tend to forget where i have left my things and get lazy finding them.
I love this idea. Home Depot here I come. I can’t wait to do this.
Very good idea. My husband did this but put three evenly spaced hooks on a board for me. I get about 6 bags on it as I will put a long handled and short handled one on each hook. It works but I don’t have a closet to hide them in.
